It was time to unwind after the hectic trip to Pochera & Kuntala waterfalls, the decision to go on a picnic was taken well into the day on Sunday(19th Aug) as we all got up late.

Once the decision was made, there was a quick dash to the market to get the required items and packing of required materials for cooking and we hit the road around 12 noon towards the destination.

We zeroed in on a place just before couple of kilometers from the temple where there is a source of water in the form of borewell and ample space to park the vehicles and do the cooking.

The cooking arrangements were made smoothly and soon everyone around felt the smell of Biryani cooking in the area and were waiting eagerly to have a go.

Soon the items were in place and were inspected one final time by the team before everyone settled for group biryani feast.

After the meals and resting for a while it was time for the group photograph as a keep sake.

Now it was time to pay respects to the lord and we headed for the temple and had a darshan.

Once out of the mail temple we explored the surrounding areas particularly the rocky terrain

We also had a darshan of the huge Lord Hanuman Statue in front of the temple.

Finally after having thoroughly enjoyed the picnic cum devotional trip we hit the road back home in the evening around 6pm and stopped by for a cup of Irani Chai as well.

Overall the back to back trips on this weekend was an experience in itself.
